This is a One of a kind 1:48 scale model of a 800 ton Gottwald Superlift Crane. Gottwald Cranes commissioned NZG to build the proto-type of the crane in the early 80’s. My father purchased this model in 1990. It was displayed for about 9 years then packed away. It is made of brass, and when assembled the green boom section is over 9 feet high. There appears to be 3 different configurations to the boom sections. At the time this model was made it was the largest mobile crane in existence.
Please bare in mind this model is 27 yrs old it isn’t in mint condition it has a custom built wooden crate for shipping and storage.
